Have you ever had someone tell you you had to read a specific book and you were excited to read it? No. My students do not want me to pick their books for them either. They want to find their favorite characters, authors, themes, and series to read on their own. Not a book that I have determined is best for them. By allowing my students to choose their own books I am giving ownership of their learning and helping them become excited to go home and read. More of my students will actually read the book and not just leave the book in their bookbags because they forgot to read. The Flex-Space Mobile Book Bin Storage Center and Book Bins will allow me to reorganize the books I already have in my classroom into a quickly accessible classroom library for all students to choose their own book take home to read to practice their reading skills.
