Equal musical opportunities: learning together, growing together, music making for life! We all tell our students and children to "dream big" and "never let anything stop you from achieving your dreams!" These dreams don't wait for our students to graduate from high school, they begin NOW! Students have the most vivid visions as far as what they want to be now while they are young! Yet, most students cannot afford to do what they dream, and this is where we change lives. Our students want to participate in the school band program. They wish to take lessons and be a part of the group, however being in an economically disadvantaged area, most students wish to participate and simply cannot afford an instrument. At our school, we have accepted donated instruments that have been loved and no longer used. However, we do not have enough to accommodate the entire population. These students need to have the same opportunity to succeed in music. Students wish to participate in band lessons that they try to save up for an instrument themselves with birthday money or holiday cash. Your donation will aid in the purchase of 10 band instruments to give 10 students per year the chance to learn, grow, and make authentic music! Your donation could drastically change the course of a student's path. Because of you, our students are excited to come to school for their lesson! You are showing them that there is more to life than what they know at home and providing an escape or outlet for students to turn to when they need. You are promoting social and emotional learning for student success while providing them this opportunity! Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
