I want to help provide a culture of literacy at home and foster a love for reading. Many students do not have access to transportation to go to a public library so the school library is the only place they can check out books to read at home. Most of these students are reading in low levels and often don't even want to choose books because they don't think reading is for them. These books have been chosen specifically to attract their attention and to cultivate a love for reading. My students will learn that reading is indeed fun, and that they are all kinds of books. Books are truly limitless and expands our minds, imagination and worlds.
