In general, there is a lack of bilingual materials for speech therapy. Many times I use English books and translate the story myself. However, these Spanish books will allow also my students to read the stories for themselves, as for many of them, their first language is Spanish. These Spanish books will provide the basis for and guide engaging, fun, motivating, culturally and linguistically appropriate lessons. My students will work on answering simple and complex wh-questions, sequencing, describing, retelling stories as well as simple inferencing and predicting. Thank you for your consideration!
