When students are thirsty or hungry, their survival instincts easily overcome their critical thinking skills and compromise their ability to focus and learn. By satisfying these basic needs, the students trust us and our ability to meet all of their needs (not just their academic learning needs). Having water bottles available to our students will encourage them to come back to class. At school, many students are concerned about contracting COVID-19. In addition, having access to bottled water will help ease our students as they endure the hot temperatures and the moderate/poor air quality from the forest fires.

About my class
