I am passionate about providing diverse and bilingual literature to my students. They do not have enough books in Spanish for my classroom library, and as a biliterate classroom, I believe that my kids should have access to just as many Spanish books as English books. Students in dual immersion need to be able to read high quality books in Spanish every day; it's essential for effective language learning. Having a wider collection of Spanish texts in our class bookshelf would greatly benefit my students in their path to biliteracy.
