Right now my students do not have their own journals to write in. We had to make make-shift journals by printing out lined paper and stapling it together. It has become hard for the children to keep their journals organized, which makes it hard for them to understand their writing. We also have a shortage of books and our library hasn’t come together. Having books and print will hell our children build their vocabulary and loteracy skills which are very important for students at this age. We strive to set them up for success.
