Writing provides an advantage that will allow students to expand their reading skills. Writing focuses students on phonics, comprehension, mechanics, developing their voice or perspective, and communicating this perspective to others. Being able to take pictures and publish their own stories and books will provide a bonus for the students to see the world through a lens from a different perspective. By donating to this project, it will help my students not only improve and increase their attention but provide opportunities to increase their creativity through writing. These cameras will allow my students to take pictures of the world around them and then write constructively sound stories to publish with illustrations. The use of the cameras will promote hands on learning to help them organize events in a sequential manner that will support writing using accurate grammar, punctuation and structure. Using a camera is another opportunity to allow their creativity to flow.
