My students will benefit from these tools to help them stay engaged in the classroom. Engaged students learn more and avoid behavior problems. Fidget tools will help channel energy in appropriate ways and keep their focus on learning. Turning these into appropriate math games keeps things fun, exciting, as well as motivating. Staying motivated and organized is something we are always working on in our classroom. Many students cannot bring things like pencil boxes from home to organize their tools, so it can be a challenge. When they can find their supplies quickly, it helps us jump right into our learning. There is always room for improving our reading and phonics skills. Games are. great way to encourage peer interaction while practicing skills. My class loves any interaction they can get and the phonics games will be a class favorite.
