What is exercise for children? For many children, exercise means being physically active during play, recess, and physical education class (PE). PE contributes to each child's total growth and development. Children who are physically active have stronger muscles and bones, and increased coordination and energy. Sadly after Hurricane Ida all our PE equipment was lost, with this new equipment students will be able to take part in activities that will increase their desire for lifelong participation in physical activity. With this equipment, my students will learned and improve on many skills, but without new equipment this is not possible. Student will participate in lessons ranging from how to jump rope to ball games. Students will use the PE equipment daily in class at school to increase their learning.
