Research shows that neural activity in children is far more enhanced when they actively following along with lessons instead of simply watching. My students currently use dry erase boards to follow along with our lessons; however, they are messy, bulky to store, dry erase markers run out quickly and the markers are expensive to repurchase. The Boogie Board Interactive Writing Tablets will not only help aid my kinesthetic and visual learners, they are very engaging for students as well! The tablets have a 5-7 year battery life, a shatter proof screen and, although they come with a stylus, even a finger can be used to write!
