This mindfulness space will support both our students and teachers social and emotional wellness, developing self awareness, self care habits, improved attentiveness and stress reduction. The return to school has been overwhelming for both students and teachers. The social emotional learning team surveyed students and staff, which displayed a need and desire to have a place for students and teachers to recharge, reflect and meditate. The furnishings for the mindfulness space will be utilized by both students and teachers. Our mindfulness space will also be used weekly for our staff wellness team, which will focus on self care habits, stress reduction and yoga.

About my class
