In my project, I will provide various kits for teachers to use in their rooms as a way to build fine motor skills while incorporating learning objectives. Activities will include, paper punching numbers, lacing spelling words, or using playdoh to form various letters just to name a few. All of these activities will focus on specific skills which are used every day in the classroom, while still progressing with the established curriculum. They will also be able to MOVE during these activities, versus sitting at a desk with a pencil, which is challenging for children who may have learning differences.
