My students often come to class with uncharged Chromebooks so they can't complete their work. This project will allow me to keep some chargers in the classroom for my student to borrow if they forgot or lost their charger. These chargers will be kept in my classroom and only used there. This will allow them to take their quizzes and tests in class, even if they forgot their charger. Without the charger, some students would score a zero on the assessment and would have to schedule a make-up test, which they may never do. This could cause them to fail if forgetting their charger becomes a habit.
