These English language Developing Skill Cards will service as additional resources for English language learners in classroom centers within my ENL classroom. They will teach vocabulary, sentence structure and improve writing and comprehension skills. The photo sets will help my newcomers to develop English vocabulary as well as to make connections to their native language. For my more advanced ELLs the Idiom and Multiple Meaning Teaching Cards will help to advance their language skills and prepare them for more advanced instruction in English. These resources will be used to supplement on going ENL instruction during the school day, as well as in enrichment instruction in my after school programs.
