The books chosen for this project are great stories designed to have students fall in love with reading chapter books. Holes by Louis Sachar is a great coming of age story that will empower students to become independent learners. The Witches by Roald Dahl is a fun story that helps build students background knowledge of different cultures. The classroom keeper and calendar provide an equitable classroom environment. It will help the students have the same resources available that most modern classes have. The Magnetic whiteboard is heaven sent for our classroom combo. I know the students from our class struggle with having only one area of focus in the classroom.
