My students are eager to start a Cosmetology/Entrepreneurship Club at our middle school. At this grade level, there are very little resources that encourages students to practice and master these skillsets. As their teacher, I want to give them every opportunity possible to succeed. They are incredibly intelligent students who have full capabilities of becoming meaningful leaders in their communities. I believe this project will help them grow into that role while learning and seeing the value of education. These materials will be used to host Makeover Events on campus, tutorial sessions instructed by makeup gurus, and practice for themselves to hone their skills. We will also look into how to run a club/business of this nature and create business models.
