My school is in a city area. We are currently housed in a very old building and have not had access to very much technology. We are new this year and so it has been a struggle to get to know all of our student as both individuals and learners. These students came from parochial schools and did not have the access to technology. I would like to bring technology to my students to help them excited to learn math. Part of our new student make up is we have a lot of kids who are missing school, because they don't care if they miss it. I want class to be so much fun they want to be here, because if they are not here there is no way they can learn. I teach 2 different grade levels math and thing they would really benefit from this hands on opportunity.
