The materials requested will be used for students to design and build for themselves and the school a gaga ball court. The students are in a design course in which we design and engineer or innovate many different projects and activities. The students don't have a lot of playground space and lack equipment such as basketball hoops, soccer goals, and handball walls. The students would be required to create sketches of the gaga ball court to scale and make a materials list needed with a budget. They would then need to create a presentation proposal for the School director as far as the location of the gaga ball court. They will work as a team to take their scale drawings to physically build the court. Lastly, they will test and evaluate the gaga ball court and see if any adjustments need to be made.
