The majority of students in my district haven't had access to general music classes since shutdowns first took place. The Junior High and High School Choir program is currently rebuilding after not having Choir as an option for several years. These materials will help me teach music in a fun and engaging way. The boomwhackers will be used primarily by elementary students to learn about pitch, note identification, and general musicality. The students are really enjoying music this year and have even stopped me outside of school to sing me a song or show me something they have found and have turned into an instrument. I love seeing their understanding of music grow.
