For most of my students, it is their first experience interacting with peers their ages. After a year of virtual learning, younger learners are in need to communicate and socialize with others. This carpet will be the perfect place for whole group instruction, pair-share, and a place for students to learn to navigate their bodies and space. With a carpet, during whole group instruction, every student in the classroom will be able to see the board clearly. This carpet also helps facilitate pair-share and partner talk, which is important for language development, especially for students with language acquisition needs.

About my class
