My students deserve to have a safe and clean learning environment every day they come to school. Masks are required but resources are limited. There is a PPE shortage in our school and teachers are having to come out of pocket to provide adequate materials and cleaning supplies for their classrooms to keep themselves and their students safe. We are in desperate need of PPE and cleaning supplies such as masks, hand sanitizer, Lysol and cleaning wipes, paper towels and basic items to protect students and teachers by being able to keep hands, desks and all surfaces in the classroom clean and sanitary. Our school nurse's resources are also limited and she is often unable to provide basic pain reliever to reduce fever and headaches and symptoms which prevent students from staying healthy and attending class. With your help, I would be able to provide masks and hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies to several students, each desk could be wiped down after every class period and students wouldn't have to reuse the same disposable mask every day and I would be able to clean surfaces between classes.
