My students have a hard time engaging and staying motivated. With these manipulatives, we can learn and play at the same time! This will increase their focus while teaching them new skills. The sensory bins will give them the opportunity to have exposure to new textures, while learning new academic vocabulary. The math games will help reinforce the daily life skills of money. They will learn to recognize the bills as they earn privileges and can play the allowance game incorporating turn taking as well. The shape matching cards will help the students create masterpieces while incorporating geometry. My students will learn that math can be fun!
