The focus of my project is to increase literacy by supplying various types of books and small group activities at a more frequent pace than in traditional media time. Finding books that are silly, thrilling, exciting, and full of diversity in character and language will not only engage our students in the fun and excitement of reading, but will also increase their comprehension, fluency, and Lexile. Students take new adventures to places they have never been when they open and engage with a book. Our students love new books with new characters and ALL students deserve the opportunity to read these books and understand the adventures that await them. Reading is FUNdamental!

About my class
