Students will have hands on or virtual opportunities to explore science specimens up close, and we can easily and safely wash them afterwards. We can safely store them in the labeled baskets and rotate to ensure health and safety of our students. Duplo Legos will allow students to design and build structures while also working together to develop STEM and social emotional skills at the same time. The Number Bingo game will add fun to learning about numbers and quantity concepts. Reading quality books about science and math concepts builds a rich vocabulary and helps students connect new learning with real world experiences. Bluetooth speakers will allow us to listen to instructions and informative videos highlighting science, math, and technology concepts while watching the teacher demonstrate. Finally, listening to audio books develops students’ listening skills as well as their imagination, and can easily be switched to use with distance learning as needed!
