The students in TV Production are responsible for producing the morning announcements daily. The students film them, add graphics, edit and post the video for the school. The current computer used for editing has no graphic card so we need to keep the graphics really simple or we miss our deadlines because the video can't be processed fast enough. We need this graphic card in order to help the students meet their deadlines and create a quality show that they and the school can be proud of. I, as a teacher, can't teach them anything extra because of the limitations of technology and this small purchase will open up all sorts of possibilities to these future filmmakers and photojournalists.
