In my opinion, one of the best ways to learn about the language is by trying to understand the history and culture of a country. For example: celebrating one of their holidays will be a fun project for students to learn and be more engaged. Students will connect with the fun traditions and celebrations of the day while they learn about the cultural elements. So in my project, I am going to teach them the history and customs of the Chinese New Year. The Chinese New Year has different folk tales that explain how animals became part of the celebration and explanations for relationships between animals, with the printer and ink, I will be able to print out all of the important resources and materials for my students, I will be able to develop my lessons and make students more interested in learning Chinese. Also, with the Chinese storybooks, I will be able to read aloud the story in the classroom and we will have a Chinese library corner in the future. Students can pick the storybook and read independently.
