These materials already a "home" in our classroom and in the event of a transition to virtual learning, it will make things easier for the students to keep learning without interruption. The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The printer will be used for classroom projects, specifically in our STEAM centered classes. The Feelings Journals are dear to my heart as it will help them to share their feelings and we can do interventions as necessary to provide a healthy environment. The Writing Journals will help them to practice daily writing. The headphones will be used during our center times which will allow for uninterrupted learning. The pencils will be used in our Writing and Reading centers daily. The gift card from TeachersPayTeachers will make for a great transition to the virtual classroom and for the students that are quarantined as they will able to get enrichening content while at home and school.
