The individual reading bags will help give confidence and build a love for reading in my students. Building a love for reading is such an important tool for students to gain in their first year of school. Research has shown that if we give students the opportunities and confidence in reading, they will thrive in school. Reading to students is the greatest indicator of success of students. Giving students hands on opportunities in the classroom will help them become successful and will empower them in their learning. The Math manipulatives will provide another level of hands on learning for my students. Students will use them to work on counting, understanding and being able to explain attributes, adding and subtracting and so much more. By providing these materials for my students, they will have unlimited hands on opportunities in classroom to help support in their learning.
