The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. Students will be able to learn while learning new materials. Additionally, the right supplies help teachers avoid distractions that inhibit every student's learning. Studies have proven that when students have their own school supplies, their grades and classroom behavior improve and they become more excited about school and learning. Black said the lack of school supplies plays a vital role in a child's development socially, physically and mentally. Second, school supplies affect student learning by simply enabling them to get work done. Teachers in low-income areas often struggle through lessons as students must share their pencils, scissors, and other supplies, dragging one activity on longer than planned.
