All children deserve to have books on their reading level. They want to be excited about what they read, and even chuckle at the stories. The earbuds for my class will be used with tablets to allow children to hear good fluent reading through various programs. Fun and exciting stories are the key to creating life long readers. The books will be used as read aloud stories in class, and for independent reading. Children need to have lots of choices to find stories that they can relate to and enjoy. Characters like Pig the Pug, and Henry and Mudge are relatable and help hook the readers.
