Students need welcoming, warm, and brave spaces to talk about the lives they live. The items in my list will help me enhance the space I have been given to give a space for students to open up and be brave. Flexible seating is incredibly welcoming and adds variety for when a child is talking about trauma or sensitive issues. Food and treats also add to the family/welcoming feeling that I want my space to create. Plus every student can use snacks and food to keep them going! Help me give my students a couseling space that will help them heal!
