Since I am a second year teacher, I am not equipped to help my students well enough to give them everything they deserve in the classroom. My students are new to the country and could benefit from having some books they can read in their language as well as books in English that are at their level. These tools will help them better grasp the English language and can get them reading and learning faster than not having these tools. I have seen that most of my students don't have books at home that they can read. Just by having a few books to choose from that they can bring home to read, will make them smile. Students are more engaged when they have a little down time to relax and read a book.
