My students will benefit from this clay project. The students will be making combination vessel pieces with totem pole 3D self discovery projects. Working with clay is very soothing to students and they really look forward to the time to create 3D art. The students will use the slicer to safely distribute clay evenly amongst the class. The glazes will be used to enhance the students’ project and give them a polished look. Most student use these pieces to gift to family members and friends. It is a treat for my students to be able to use clay in my classroom.
