The use of the headphones with microphones will allow each student to work independently on his/her reading skills. By recording themselves, they are able to hear what others hear when they are reading. The reading program that I am using requires the students to record specific sounds and words. Students are given feedback on their response to the recording. As the teacher, I get to review the recording in order to give the students positive feedback and the extra support they need. The microphones will enhance student learning in the school setting.
