These books will continue to enhance the independence and growth mindset I create in my classroom. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy, they are constantly asking if they can bring books back home with them. I’m a strong believer that when students have a choice in their academics it creates a love of learning. I have seen the types of books my students are drawn too and they are always asking me if I have biographies on different historical people or science books on different topics. I would love to be able to provide this to them and see their love of reading continue to grow while also helping them achieve their growing reading goals. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own level!
