My first grader were completely remote for more than 15 months! The last time that they were in a classroom they were in pre-K. I'm trying to make the transition back to school be fun and easy for them. Seat Sacks are great for little hands to have their supplies at hand and keep the need to share the supplies at bay. First graders have a lot to say, and is not only important to tell stories orally but that they but also begin sharing their story in writing. I'm big advocate of writing and sharing ideas and the earlier they learn the writing process the better they will in 2nd grade. That is why I want them to use the writers folder to understand the writing process and organization in writing.
