The percussion equipment acquired will help enhance students' classroom learning. There aren't many opportunities for students in this grade level to actually touch real percussion equipment, let alone call it their own. The equipment will not only enhance members of the Drumline Club's learning, but it will be used during regular classroom instruction to reinforce lessons on instrument families as it relates to percussion instruments. Students that are in the Drumline Club will be afforded additional opportunities to rehearse and perform locally, gaining social and emotional skills through peer and adult interactions outside of regular school. These opportunities will be meaningful and engaging for all involved. The student, parent and community alike will all benefit from your contribution to this worthwhile project.
