The use of these personal sneeze guards will help to protect my first-grade classroom environment. It will provide increased protection against the transmission of COVID-19 allowing for my students to stay in school and get the education they need and deserve. I plan to be able to use the sneeze guards so that my students can work and play by their desks safely. These sneeze guards will allow me to safely implement the curriculum, while also providing differentiated instruction. I am writing this project request in three parts because the cost to purchase 15 shield guards is high. With students having to maintain a safe distance, the sneeze guards I am requesting will provide us with the opportunity to implement some type of normalcy and creativity in classroom instruction. In other words, it provides some flexibility in the way in which I can implement fun yet safe class instruction for these young students.
