All of the tools and materials selected will help my students learn and grow. They deserve to have all the tools and resources needed to set them up for success each and every day. My students are diverse learners and thrive when learning through a multi-sensory approach. I am looking forward to using individual ten frames, dry erase hundreds charts, and a flip-able place value chart to engage students to math concepts through multiple modes of presentation. Many of my students utilize calming strategies but would benefit from visuals and hands-on sensory and calming items. I know that the flash cards and sensory tools will allow my students to become more regulated and aware of their emotions within the general education classroom. Writing is an area of need for all of my students. Many of them dislike writing and are self-conscious about their skills. I know that they will be so excited and eager to write on the LED Writing Tablets! I am hoping to increase their confidence, engagement and attitude toward writing.
