All of my students are extremely motivated to learn, especially when it comes to hands on exploration of the fifth grade Science standards. My class contains all types of learners with a common learning style, visually representation and kinetic learning styles. The majority of my class loves to participate in hands-on activities that involve extensive visual representations and interactive Science labs. To help improve and stimulate the minds of my students, I would like to provide more experiences with hands on learning through quality Science labs that bring the standards to life for ALL of the students. Having the necessary supplies will greatly enhance my students learning experiences with exciting hands on Science to stimulate their minds with endless possibilities while exploring the fifth grade standards. The students will be able to participate more actively in learning about our Earth's ecosystems, food chains, food webs, the flow of energy, and how humans impact the ecosystems on Earth. I will also be able to incorporate important key terms and learning experiences that will have lasting impacts on the fifth graders. These Science supplies listed in this project will expose my students to numerous possibilities outside of the textbook. I want to thank you for taking the time to review this proposal and for any donations of generosity. I realize I am asking for a large amount, but having more science materials for hands-on learning will only empower and inspire my students to explore further outside of the textbook.
