Students deserve a safe and engaging space to learn, where they feel welcomed and accepted. Snacks and candy are provided for students who may need a pick me up or missed a meal; standing desks and fidget bands help students expel a little of their energy while they work, or move to help them focus; headphones so students can listen to videos on their computer or music while they work, and lastly, I have several posters and inspirational decorations that reflect the students I teach and their motivations. These items create a safe, diverse, and dynamic classroom where all students are prepared to learn and engage in the topics being studied.

About my class
