As a teacher of students learning English as a second language, I must travel between 5 schools. These supplies will go towards a supply of materials at each of my schools so that all of my students have equitable access to them. In preparation for standardized testing, I would like to provide my students with lower English abilities dual language dictionaries so they are used to able able to use them in the future. These will help me to make our space in each school more welcoming to students from other countries by providing dictionaries in their native language and a world map that shows where all our students are from. In my experience, it is easier to learn when you are comfortable and know that the adults around you are trying to support your learning to the highest degree. These materials will help me to reach this goal with my students.
