The intersection of 8th and 2nd refers to my classroom where I work with the 8th and 2nd grade students that make up my caseload. I'm asking for these materials so my students will feel comfortable in our space and not have to share desks or have anyone worry the students are sitting too close at the table. The bean bags and floor chairs give the 2nd grade students their own place to sit. The portable surf lap desk can be used by everyone, but they will give the 8th grade students the opportunity to find a space that works best for them. The dry erase sheets fit on clip boards for those on the floor and I want to create a whiteboard on my portable closet. These materials will let both grade levels learn in the same space, while keeping their work areas apart, age appropriate and individualized.
