I am a speech-language pathologist within the public school setting. It is imperative that I am able to see my student's articulators (tongue, teeth, lips) as they are speaking. The face shields as well as the masks with the clear mouth window will be of great assistance, while continuing to add that much needed layer of protection. Space within many of the public schools is at a premium! Many times, the learning environment is a shared space between clinical colleagues. In order to make the space more private, it has to be partitioned so as to decrease the amount of distractions. The portable folding walls will provide enough privacy where the students will be less distracted by others in the room.
