We all know how hard it is to focus when you're hungry or don't have other needs met. What if this was your daily life? I have students who eat one meal a day. I know they need to feel safe, full, and secure before anything I teach them takes root. I can't do this alone and need financial help. My wish is for my classroom to be one of their safe spots where they can tell me their needs, get them met, and then absorb knowledge the rest of the day. I asked for food and basic care supplies that kids can access whenever they need. They won't need to ask, they can just come and grab. There will be no shame, just access.

About my class
