My Deaf and Disabilities students can discover the beauty and fun of learning. The items chosen for my students put their learning in a whole new way for them. My students have difficulty learning with just paper and pencil. They need to explore using their senses. They need to be able to manipulate items in order to learn and enjoy their learning. They need activities that are engaging and can give them a challenge by working on several skills. For example, they can continue strengthening their motor functions while learning to sort colors or identify numbers. These items will help bring our new classroom and new students so many successes.
