My students do not currently have a way to sit on the floor comfortably in a socially distanced manner. We have lots of floor space for sitting but it is quite uncomfortable to sit on the bare tiles. These will be used during story time and instruction that requires a closer look. We will use them to socially distance during center activities as well. These items will only be used in the classroom and will make centers and story time much more inviting. I find that K students are more easily engaged when they are closer to the teacher…this way they will be 6 feet apart in an organized/more comfortable manner.
