My class is so excited to have their own chromebooks this year! However, we do not have headphones for each student. Having headphones will allow students to do a wide range of activities like personalized lessons that I have recorded ahead of time for students to watch, while I work with a small group. In addition, students that are in need, will be able to listen to a text be read to them during quizzes. Students will also be able to learn at their own pace as they begin to learn how to do more and more independent work in 3rd grade. Chromebooks can never replace the teacher, but they will provide my class with another way to help them grow and practice the things I am teaching. My students are excited to learn and I can't wait to see what this new year will hold for each of them!
