Studio Shaka is a free after school program supported by our school. Students use technology to explore; create; and develop essential 21st century skills and enhance and enrich learning opportunities. A collaborative cultural and project-based learning infused approach integrates digital media and technology. The items listed above will help in providing a cohesive environment for our students to excel in their intrinsic projects. The Winsome Halifax Storage/Organization, 7 drawers and Case Club customizable foam will be used to preserve the longevity of the equipment and to teach our students about proper care, respect and storage. The Shure sm57 microphone will be put to use in a plethora of settings, for example, recording instruments like guitars and drums. Lastly, the headphones will help in facilitating large scale individual learning in a confined space, as well as simultaneously organizing several musical lessons or sessions.
